Hen, who edged out Nigel Murray for the title three years ago, is a regular at the Seminole Hard Rock and owns more than $1,200,000 in reported earnings.

Hen has put up a few Player of the Year points this year, but has a long way to go to catch current leader Michael Newman. The next points-eligible event of this series is the WPT Championship slated for next weekend.

WPTDeepStacks Day 1A: Huge Satellite Days Precede the Action

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks NLH (Single Re-Entry)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1: 25/50
Flight A Entries: 165

Preceding today’s kickoff were two days of satellites down the hall in the poker room. Tuesday and Wednesday, the property ran a total of six events guaranteeing a combined 60 seats in today’s $1,000,000 guaranteed opener. The target was crushed as more than 100 seats were awarded.

That’s boded well for today’s play as over 160 entries are in the game early in the action.
