With 2:09 remaining in level 18, the $25,000 High Roller event reached its final table. Shaun Deeb is pacing the final eight players, who will return on Tuesday at 1 p.m. to play down to a winner.

The second-biggest buy-in of the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open drew 123 entries, generating a prize pool of $3,075,000 with the top 16 spots finishing in the money.

They reached the money bubble late in the day and Scott Wright bubbled the event, securing the top 16 spots a payday.

David Peters raised to 80,000 from the hijack and Mark Fisher called out of the small blind. Shaun Deeb three-bet to 325,000 out of the big blind and Peters moved all in for about 650,000.

Fisher folded and Deeb called. Deeb showed AsTh and needed an ace against Peters’ QsQh.

The flop was Kd5c3h, keeping Peters in the lead, but the Ad came on the turn, which left Peters drawing to to outs.

The river was the 8d and Peters was gone in ninth, while Deeb takes the chip lead into the final day of play.

With the elimination of Chris Hunichen in 10th place, the final nine players have redrawn for seats at the unofficial final table. Since the tournament is an eight-max event, the final eight players will be credited with making the final table.

After one more elimination, the final eight players will bag up for the night and come back on Tuesday afternoon to play down to a winner.
