Event 1 isn’t the only game in town today, the Pot Limit Omaha/8 tournament is moving right along and nearing a triple-digit entry count. A great bit of value and fun for those already set for Day 2 in Event 1.

Some familiar faces are back including Phil Hui, Daniel Pearlman, Errol Massey (pictured below), Daniel Castillo (pictured above), and “Miami John” Cernuto fresh off his second-place finish in the H.O.R.S.E. tournament last night.

The Hard Rock Event Center is already rocking from the big crowd for Event 1 Flight E and we’re going to throw another tournament in the mix at noon. South Florida loves Pot Limit Omaha and it’s time for another PLO tournament.

This time around, we are throwing the hi/low twist on Pot Limit Omaha and that will pump up the action at the tables. The $360 Pot Limit Omaha/8 will not grow as large as the No Limit Hold’em games but it will be a talented field.

Entrants sit down to 10,000 stacks and the tournament runs 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm and they will go on a dinner break two hours after that.

This is a one-day tournament and we will award another Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open trophy before the night is over.
