The final table of the $360 Pot Limit Omaha 8 event was a bit of a roller-coaster late, with Andrew Woodmancey seemingly on the verge of victory with a huge chip lead heads-up, then losing the lead, then coming back to win it all.

There were 86 entries in this one-day event, and Woodmancey, a local player from Coconut Creek, outlasted them all to earn the second-biggest score of his live tournament career.

The Pot Limit Omaha 8 game recently returned from their first break of the day. The entry count is up to 69 for another great non-hold’em turnout as the majority of the room grinds the Ultimate Re-Entry.

Making room for them, the PLO8 is playing out in the back corner of the Event Center for a more intimate, quiet game.

They have four more levels plus the break to push the number higher with late registration closing at 4:30pm.

We are knee deep into the first weekend of the series with the masses coming out to participate in the Ultimate Re-Entry event. But we don’t forget our four-card friends and we’ve had a one-day trophy event every day so far.

Today is no exception.

Event 4 is a $360 Pot Limit Omaha 8 game that will keep things moving but will also have chopped pots to even things out. Players sit down to 12,000 starting stacks and all levels last 30-minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm and there will be a dinner break at 6pm.
