In the last hand before the break, with the blinds at 3,000-6,000, Patricia Conrad moved all in from the small blind for 93,000, and Joanne Milburn thought for a while before she called all in for 92,000 with .

Conrad turned over , and whoever lost this pot would either be eliminated or down to 1K.

The board came , and Milburn spiked a five on the river to win the pot with a full house, fives full of jacks. Conrad suffered the bad beat to be knocked all the way down to a single 1K chip with the blinds increasing to 4,000-8,000.

Registration closed on the Ladies Event and it was a great turnout. The tournament had a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool and the 76 entries easily surpassed it. They combined to create a prize pool worth $15,960 and the last ten spots will earn some money.

The Ladies Event is into the ninth level of the day and time is running out to get into the action. We have 72 entries so far, a great turnout for the special event.

Sachi Botner looks like the current leader with 65,000 and she has some competition on her right in Nancy Thomas. She picked up the biggest score of her career in the same event as the previously mentioned Jerry Wong. Thomas made the first Ultimate Re-Entry final table in 2017 and finished second for nearly $110,000.

We put a $10,000 Guarantee on the Ladies Event and they wasted no time blasting past it. Entry number 48 officially put the prize pool over $10,000 and registration is open until 6:30pm.

Table 20 grabbed our attention at the start of the day when the four starting players were having a laugh. They are best friends and all drew the same table. Melissa Mancini, MG Fernandez, Christine DiFiore, and Robyn Marshman are having a good time before getting down to serious business later this evening.

Marshman is no stranger to this tournament; she won the Ladies Event during the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.

We have other successful women in the crowd including two big winners. Jacquelyn Scott won the WSOP Ladies Championship in 2015 and Melisa Singh won the WSOP Circuit Ladies Event ring when the series was here in October 2017

Besides the big field Ultimate Re-Entry flights and a little Pot Limit Omaha 8 in the corner, we have a special tournament on the schedule. At 3pm we kick off the Ladies Event with some nice added prizes.

The tournament has a $250 buy-in with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. In addition to the top money for first place, the winner will also receive a Hard Rock Atlantic City package that includes hotel, dinner, and spa trip along with a seat into the $1,000,000 Guarantee WPTDeepStacks Lucky Hearts Poker Open Main Event.
