Aron Dermer

Aron Dermer made an incredible come back after being the short stack three-handed against two very experienced players in Event 12 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, a $360 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament.

“I late registered,” he said. “It was a tough field. I had to beat out two strong players.”

Dermer says it was a mixture of getting lucky, playing well and putting it in in the right spot.

When asked about the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, he said, “I love the Hard Rock. It’s the best casino. I like Tony [Burns]. He’s the best tournament director”.

Dermer jokes that he is a H.O.R.S.E specialist now.

The tournament drew 57 entries generating a prize pool of $17,100. The top eight finishers were in the money Jean Gaspard finishing second and Phil Hui sixth.
