On Saturday evening, we were happy to host a player’s party for our Championship players to show our appreciation of their support. They gathered at the L Bar at 10pm for signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from Kuro including their popular Tuna Crispy Rice and Wagyu Tacos.

The DJ spun his tunes, a saxophone player played his heart out, and a good time was had by all.

While most were watching the Championship, our Sunday morning tournament turned into a nice tournament. Event 19 is a $360 Black Chip Bounty tournament that drew 192 entries to put $38,400 in the normal prize pool and $19,200 up for grabs in the form of bounties.

The top 24 spots will be paid with a min-cash earning $355 while the Event 19 champ will take home $9,734 plus the Showdown trophy, the custom-framed winner’s photo courtesy of IMPDI, and all the black chips they collected along the way.

The $360 buy-in tournament has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool with $100 bounties on each player. They’ll start with 15,000 stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes long. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30pm and players can fire as often as they like during that time.

Since this is a one-day tournament, we will crown our next Showdown champion later this evening.
