Qartomy: AcKs
Davies: QdQh

It was a High Roller race and Qartomy took the lead on the As9s7d flop. Neither the 4d turn nor the Jc river were enough to keep David in the game.

Alex Foxen and Elio Fox tangled up in a lot of hands during the Super High Roller and they recently got involved again. With the board reading Jc7s5dAdQs, Foxen checked in the big blind and Fox put him all in for his last 95,000. After a couple of minutes in the tank, Foxen called.

Fox tabled AsQd and Foxen flashed what appeared to be Ac6c before he tossed his hand in the muck.

Not one to let good value go, Foxen immediately jumped back into the tournament.

Niall Farrell

The High Roller is a single entry away from crossing over the $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and two new players helped push it higher.

Both Niall Farrell and Aaron Mermelstein made Day 3 of the Championship and both collected a payout slip. Before too long, they each took a seat in the High Roller before the second break.

High Roller: Jason Mercier Takes a Seat

Level 5: 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante

Jason Mercier

The High Roller is up to 70 entries and one of them belongs to Jason Mercier. The number one ranked Florida player, and one of the best in the world, has been semi-retired for the last year as he concentrates on being a father.

But he’ll still come out for a juicy tournament. Mercier made Day 2 of the Championship but fell short of the money. Today’s High Roller was good enough to get him back in the building to add to his nearly $19 million in career earnings.

High Roller: Cord Garcia Doubles Through Ari Engel

Engel: QcTs

Both flopped top pair but Engel had kicker issues. The river 8s finished the hand and Garcia doubled.

Cord Garcia – 132,000 (53 bb)

Elio Fox

The entry count took a jump after the first break with a few new arrivals. Elio Fox grabbed a nice cash last week when he won the $50,000 Super High Roller for $440,000 and it was his second straight SHRP Super High Roller win.

Seth Davies switched room like Darren Elias earlier. He went deep in the WPT Poker Showdown Championship, busted on Day 3, and joined the High Roller.
