The first break is complete after the players enjoyed a little lunch spread for the High Rollers. They are back in action and chasing Sam Soverel at the top of the counts.

He returned to a stack of 258,500 followed by Ali Imsirovic and Aram Zobian in a dead heat for second place.

Brandon Adams

We mentioned Jake Schindler earlier as the defending champ but that is judging by the last $25K High Roller that was run. The true defending champion is Brandon Adam as the winner of this event during Showdown last April.

The High Roller specialist banked $340,000 after dominating last year’s final table.

Barry Hutter

With the board reading 7s3c3d6dQh, Jonathan Jaffe put Barry Hutter all in for his last 52,000. Hutter did not wait long to call at risk with the near nuts.

Hutter: QcQs
Jaffe: 5d3s

Jaffe flopped trip treys but Hutter pulled the two-out river boat for the double.

Barry Hutter – 175,000 (117 bb)

Jake Schindler

The High Roller is close to clicking over 50 entries as we hit the third level of the day. A fine start.

The last time we ran a $25K High Roller was during the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in August as part of the Big 4. That tournament 123 entries and Jake Schindler outlasted an incredibly tough final table to book the win for more than $800,000.

High Roller: Sean Winter Doubles Through Rainer Kempe

Level 2: 500/1,500 with a 1,500 ante
Entries: 44

Sean Winter

We caught the end of the action with the board reading 8d6s2sJdKd and Rainer Kempe put most of his chips in the middle from the big blind, the accidental 500 chip was left behind. Sean Winter thought for ten seconds before he tossed in a chip to call all in for 47,000.

Kempe: Jh6h
Winter: Kc6c

Winter was good with two pair kings and sixes against two pair jacks and sixes for a full double. Winter was up to 195,000, Kempe was down to 4,000 and gone two hands later.

Sam Panzica

It was a rough start to the day for Sam Panzica. The two-time WPT champ/four-time WSOP Circuit winner was one of the first players in the room and he was the first to exit. It looks like Ian O’Hara did most of the heavy lifting and he’s up to 143,400.

Panzica has one cash the series but it was a big one. He earned more than $100,000 for a second-place finish in the $1,100 tournament.

Darren Elias

Our most recent entrant is playing his second tournament of the day already. Four-time WPT champ Darren Elias made Day 3 of the Championship but he was an early exit. He earned $8,285 in the Event Center and he rolled that into part of his High Roller entry a few minutes later.

Jonathan Jaffe

The High Roller is up to 24 entries midway through the first level and it’s a relaxed atmosphere despite the high stakes. We expect to see more than a few players join after their Championship run comes to an end.

Jonathan Jaffe was in his seat at the start and the only player so far who also entered the $50,000 Super High Roller last week.
