Ryan Hogan

As the clock his 3 am, Event 1 was down to its last hand of the night. And it was an interesting one.

Ryan Hogan open-shoved for 325,000 then picked up calls from Rafael Lima, Marc Duquette, and Hector Pacheco. Arkadiy Pervyy Bakhtin was in the small blind and moved all in for 2,555,000 and the rest of the table folded.

Hogan: JsJh
Bakhtin: KdTc

Hogan was in great shape and pulled the quadruple up pot after the Ah3d2cJcTd board.

The clock was paused with 15:57 in Level 27 and they will resume on Monday at 3 pm.

Ryan Hogan – 1,745,000 (29 bb)
Arkadiy Pervyy Bakhtin – 2,230,000 (37 bb)

Event 1: Massive Double for Hector Pacheco

$400 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 27:  30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 ante
Players Remaining:  8 of 1,102

The two biggest stacks at the final table played the biggest pot of the tournament so far. With the flop out and reading KcQhJs, all the chip went in the middle with similar-sized stacks.

Pacheco: AdAh
Hogan: KsQd

Hogan flopped top two against Pacheco’s aces and asked for a hold. The turn was 3s and the river 3c got a gasp from the table. The running threes gave Pacheco a bigger two pair, aces and threes versus kings and queens, to give him the massive pot.

The dealer and staff double-checked the counts and Pacheco was the all in player for 6,305,000 and Hogan was left with 355,000.

Hector Pacheco – 14,500,000 (242 bb)
Ryan Hogan – 355,000 (6 bb)

Event 1: Rafael Lima Doubles Through Marc Duquette

$400 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 27:  30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 ante
Players Remaining:  8 of 1,102

Rafael Lima opened to 150,000 from the cutoff and Marc Duquette three-bet to 300,000 from the button. The blinds folded, Lima called, and the flop came 9c6c2d. Lima bet 300,000 and Duquette called.

The turn was Qd and Lima moved all in for 1,750,000. Duquette thought for a moment and called.

Lima: JcTc
Duquette: AdAc

Duquette had the lead but had a lot of river outs to dodge with Lima holding a flush draw/open-ended straight draw. The 8s river complete Lima’s queen-high straight and he celebrated before stacking up his double.

Rafael Lima – 4,850,000 (81 bb)
Marc Duquette – 990,000 (17 bb)
