Monday night in the Poker Room meant another big tournament in the evening to bring out the crowd. May Deep Stack Poker Series Event 4 was a one-day $150 No Limit Hold’em tournament that drew 184 entries to easily surpass the $10,000 guarantee. SHRP regular Angelo Castaldi cruised to the final table and took the title after a four-way deal saw him earn $4,135 for the win.

The tournament created a prize pool worth $22,080 to double up the guarantee and the 23 players took home some money.

With four players remaining, Castaldi held twice as many chips as second place Tiffany Wong and was declared the champ after the four reached a deal to divide up the remaining prize pool. Wong earned $3,338 for second place followed by David Veloso with $3,307 for third and William Napier with $2,417 for fourth.

Registration closed on May Deep Stack Poker Series Event 4 and it drew 184 entries to more than double the $10,000 guarantee. They combined to put $22,080 in the prize pool with the last 23 players earning some money including $210 for a min-cash and $5,721 to the Event 4 champ.

The $600 buy-in multi-flight tournament isn’t the only new game in the Poker Room today, we also have the one-day $150 buy-in Event 4 running this evening. It has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool that should be topped early.

Players will sit down to 20,000 starting stacks and all levels last 20 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 7 at 8:10 pm and they will continue playing into the evening until we crown our next champ.
