The entry count keeps pushing the Event 5 prize pool higher since the $200,000 guarantee has been reached and more are joining as we move deeper into the weekend.

Luiz Duarte is back in the Poker Room not long after a big run in Event 3. The Brazilian made the final table and a river five kept him from doubling when heads-up with eventual champ Aaron Valencia. He earned $35,480 for his runner-up finish and came into Event 5 on a roll.

Duarte is one of the more accomplished players in the room today with more than $1.2 million in career earnings. He has three Brazilian Series of Poker High Roller titles, he picked up R$710,000 ($281,408) for a second-place finish in the 2014 BSOP Millions Main Event, and another $129,312 for a second-place finish in the $109 Online Mini WPTDeepStacks series.

Well before the first break of the day, Flight B put 49 more entrants in Event 3 to officially push the prize pool over the $200,000 guarantee. And there’s plenty of time to join up.

Registration will remain open for Event 3 until the start of Day 2 on Sunday at noon. There are 14 levels play today to jump in plus another full flight tomorrow.

The Memorial Day weekend is upon us and today we have the second of three flights for the $1,700 Deepest Stack tournament starting at 10 am. Flight A drew 85 entries to put it on a quick path to topping the $200,000 guarantee later today.

Players start with 50,000 deep stack and all levels last 40 minutes o Day 1, increasing to 60 minutes on Day 2 and 90 from Level 23 forward. Late registration will remain open until cards go in the air for Day 2 on Sunday with unlimited re-entries
