The great LHPO turnout is continuing this afternoon with the $600 Double Black Chip Bounty tournament. The $50,000 guarantee was reached before the start of play and it was more than doubled before the first hour was complete.

Thomas Gari is back in another LHPO field after running deep in Event 1 yesterday. The 93-year-young player didn’t mess with the Seniors Event this morning, he’s here for the bigger money tournament.

The second new tournament on today’s schedule already has some big numbers before cards go in the air. Event 8 is a $600 Double Black Chip Bounty NLH tournament with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool that was matched an hour before kick off.

It will be another big one.

They’ll start with 15,000 stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with a single re-entry available if players lose their first stack. Players will take a 40-minute dinner break at 6 pm and return to play down to a trophy winner later this evening.
