After having been down to 30,000 at one point during the final table, Jackson Martin (pictured) survived a few all-ins before finally doubling out of short-stack territory.

Most recently, Kevin Garosshen opened to 75,000 from the hijack and Martin called from the button. Greg Fishberg three-bet to 330,000 from the small blind, Garosshen folded, Martin four-bet all in for 405,000 and Fishberg called.

Registration closed on the $400 Deep Stack Pot Limit Omaha game and the number is huge. The tournament drew 311 entries which makes our biggest PLO field and it’s not close.

2021 Showdown (April) – 311 Entries
2021 LHPO (January) – 225 entries
2013 SHRPO (August) – 202 entries
2017 WSOPC (September) – 181 entries
2019 SHRPO (August) – 155 entries

We set a new record in January but it did not last long. Tournament staff are confirming the numbers and we will post the payout information as soon as it is available.

Event 4: Gabriel Ramos Going for Six

$400 Deep Stack Pot Limit Omaha (Single Re-Entry)
Structure
Level 2:  100/200
Entries:  132

Gabriel Ramos

The Deep Stack PLO game is going to get big. Between South Florida’s love of the game and the sold-out flights in Event 1, the number is flying high already and up to 132 in less than an hour. The record is 225 entries for our biggest PLO field ever, set in January, and beating it is a definite possibility.

Gabriel Ramos grabbed an early seat and trying to cement himself as one of our most successful players. He owns five SHRP Hollywood titles with all of them in some form of Omaha (wins in Big O, PLO8, Six-Max PLO, and two in OE) Those trophies are good enough to put him in a tie for third-most overall and one more will put him in good company with Brian Altman and Raminder Singh at six wins.
