Prize Pool: $71,400
August 3, 2021
The $600 Six-Max Pot Limit Omaha tournament had such a great turnout that it needed an extra day to finish. It drew 136 entries and Logan Hewett came back for Day 2 to win it all along with $18,055.
The field combined to create a prize pool worth $71,400 with 23 spots getting paid. The tournament played late into the evening and bagged up their chips after Sean Shah was eliminated in sixth place.
The five remaining players returned on Wednesday to play it out with some tough players remaining including Event 18 champion Long Nguyen and returning leader David Moreno. But both players fell short of the title followed by former SHRP champ Eric Kolodny.
With a six-to-one chip lead, the heads up battle between Hewett and Blake Napierala did not last long. A few hands in the match, Hewett had all the chips and Napierala took home $11,940 for second place.
Newett, haling from Lousiana, is sticking around to play the rest of the series including the Championship.
“That’s why I’m here!” he said.
