Action is back underway after the break and they added enough during that time to push the Flight A entry total over 500. And they still have more than two hours to run it up.

Jeff Silverstein is back in the ballroom a few months from a big opening event run during the RRPO series. That tournament drew 6,196 entries for the biggest tournament field in state history and Silverstein outlasted most of them to finish in 13th place.

Michael Newman

We closed out 2021 with our traditional Fun in the Sun series over the last few days of the year. Five tournaments with a lot of chips and a ton of money.

Turns out we had five really familiar faces take home trophies and three of them are here in early action.

Michael Newman won the opening $400 Deep Stack tournament, Marty Robbins finished off the series with a win in the $250 Holiday Deep Stack, and former SHRP Player of the Year Ory Hen took the Main Event title in between. Ducarmel Beaubien and Alcides Gomez rounded out the list of winners and we expect to see them early in this series.

A few familiar faces include Mark Cannon, Larry Klur, Jennifer David, Eric Piderit, and Caleb Piderit.
