Event 1 Flight A: More for Scott Levitt

$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 10:  600/1,200 with a 1,200 ante
Flight A Players Remaining:  261 of 655

Scott Levitt

We mentioned Jake Ferro earlier and his run during the WPT RRPO Championship and we found another local who also had a deep finish. Hollywood regular Scott Levitt was among the top stacks for the latter parts of the tournament but a run of bad luck saw him settle for a 13th place finish for $48,900.

Not where he wanted but making the last two tables of a WPT event is always a great result.

Flight A will continue playing down into the evening until 82 players remain. Those players will bag up their chips and return for Day 2 at 1 pm in the money.

Level 8:  400/800 with a 800 ante
Flight A Entries:  639

Jake Ferro

We found Jake Ferro taking part in the first tournament of the series and he had a big run in the last tournament in the ballroom. The WPT RRPO Championship drew 1,566 entries and Ferro outlasted all but Gediminas Uselis. He finished second for $573K, a pretty decent consolation prize, and that result helped push him to become the new WPT Player of the Year.

Event 2: Big Field

Level 3:  250/500 Limits
Entries:  105

Brian Gelrod (left) and Phil Hui (right)

Event 2 has itself a nice field already with more than 100 entries in the Limit Omaha 8 tournament as they moved into Level 3. They will put this field in our top five all-time with no problem and they are giving chase to make it the biggest. 160 will get them there and that number is in play.

Some notables in the field include SHRP old school O8 player Brian Gelrod, four-time Hollywood champ Phil Hui, and RRPO Black Chip Bounty champ Dean Salisbury.

Event 1 Flight A: Miles Hoping to Stay Hot

$600 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure

Flight A Entries:  552

T.K. Miles

Flight A hit 500 entries after the break and taking a fast cruise towards 600 with minimal effort. We are looking at a huge start to the tournament and series.

T.K. Miles is heading into 2022 hoping to continue his heater from the end of 2021. After seven cashes during this WSOP in November, he went to our sister room in Tampa for their Winter Poker Open and shipped the Main Event for more than $200K.
