Event 27 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 338 entries generated a prize pool of $177,450, more than tripling the $50,000 guarantee. Emerging victorious was Scott Carragher, earning $37,630 for the outright win.
“I’m a bit overwhelmed right now,” said Carragher afterward. “I’m kind of in the moment of playing for so long. A combination of relieved and ecstatic. It’s my first time at the (Seminole) Hard Rock. A friend of mine lives here, and a couple of buddies and I came down from Canada, staying at his place, and just playing a few things. I came in fourth in the $1k (Event 20) yesterday and was lucky enough to get it done today.”
