Event 17: Naoum Zarcadoolas Eliminated; Mark Dickstein More Than Doubles

$1,100 Seniors 50+ No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 19:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining:  8 of 137

Naoum Zarcadoolas

Naoum Zarcadoolas was short-stacked and open-shipped for 63,000 from middle position. Mark Dickstein called from the button, Mark Threadgill moved all in from the big blind, and Dickstein called at risk for 183,000.

Threadgill: AsAh
Dickstein: QdQs
Zarcadoolas: Kh7h

A massive pot and Zarcadoolas needed a lot of help to stay in the game. The 9c5d3c flop changed nothing and the 6c turn was harmless. The table erupted with the two-out Qh on the river to give Dickstein the pot.

Zarcadoolas was eliminated in ninth place, Dickstein took a big jump up the counts, and Threadgill was left talking to himself after the bad beat.

Mark Dickstein – 444,000 (44 bb)
Mark Threadgill – 135,000 (14 bb)
Naoum Zarcadoolas – Eliminated in 9th Place ($3,715)

Event 17: Jeff Silverstein Doubles Through Carlo Sciannameo

$1,100 Seniors 50+ No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 19:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining:  9 of 137

Jeff Silverstein picked up aces with his short stack but found no one to come along. Two hands later, he three-bet shipped for 126,000 after Carlo Sciannameo opened to 35,000 and this time got action.

Silverstein: AhAc
Sciannameo: 9d9c

Silverstein covered his head instead of watching the flop. It came 8h8c2c and the table roared to get a jump from Silverstein. It changed nothing but they had a laugh.

The board finished 7h turn and 3d river to send Silverstein a double.

Jeff Silverstein – 277,000 (28 bb)
Carlo Sciannameo – 145,000 (15 bb)

Event 17: Mark Dickstein Doubles Through Jeff Silverstein

Dickstein: AsQd
Silverstein: TsTd

Dickstein needed to improve to stay in the game and paired his ace on the AhJc4c flop. Silverstein picked up a gutshot draw on the Kh turn but Dickstein faded the 9c river to double up.

Mark Dickstein – 183,000 (18 bb)
Jeff Silverstein – 186,000 (19 bb)
