Registration closed for the $400 Big O tournament with 129 entries creating a prize pool worth $43,215. The last 17 spots will make some money with $845 for a min-cash and $11,860 awaiting the Event 3 champ.

The turnout was good enough to be the second best turnout for one of our Big O tournaments, only topped by the 161 entries we drew in January during the Lucky Hearts Poker Open.

We have a nice crowd across the hall playing some Big O. There are 68 entries less than an hour into the tournament and a great turnout for the 5-Card Pot Limit Omaha 8 event.

A few notables include former SHRP champs David Shmuel, Dean Salisbury, and Sean Shah.

There are 45 trophy events on the 2022 SHRPO schedule and a good number of them are Omaha games in some variant. We kick off that part of the schedule at 3 pm with a $400 buy-in Big O tournament, five card Pot Limit Omaha 8 for plenty of action.

Players start with 15K big stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 7:30 pm. They will continue playing into the evening until we have our first Omaha champion of the series.
