2022 SHRPO Event 9 Champion Steve Olivier

Event 9 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $600 Double Black Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry). The tournament drew 188 entries, creating a prize pool of $61,100 with an additional $37,600 set aside for bounties.

An even chop was agreed upon between the final two players, and as the chip leader it was Steve Olivier who was the official winner, earning $12,478 and his first SHRP trophy.

Olivier is a regular at the Seminole Hard Rock, playing smaller buy-in events in the poker room throughout the year. This marked his first SHRPO major final table. At one point after losing ace-king to pocket tens with six players left, Olivier was left with just two big blinds, but found a few doubles en route to seizing the chip lead and making the deal.
