Some people battled through 14 levels to bring a big stack to Day 2; Jessica Cai took about 30 minutes to get there. She was one of the max late reg players who sat down with ten big blinds this morning, and she ran it up to 194,000 in no time.

The second of three multi-flight tournaments on the Deep Stack Poker Series drew 410 entries over two flights but they’re not done there. While 99 players advanced to Day 2 starting at 11 am, registration is still open until cards go in the air. So we’ll see a few join this morning to increase the prize pool.

Martin Quirke had the same seat all day in Flight B, built a big stack, and returns today with the chip lead. Ron Campillo wasn’t far behind with 502,000 and they are followed by Rafael Fernandez, Luis Capella, and Caio Sobral in the top five.

Levels increase to 60 minutes at the start of Day 2 and increase to 90 minutes in Level 23. The Event 3 champ is going to earn the title.
