Players start with 20,000 out front and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 6:30 pm. They return and continue playing down until one player is left to pose for a winner’s pic with the SHRPO trophy.

Kelly Slay

They are coming out for the Seniors Event today with 170 entries here as the field went on its first break. They are building toward one of the biggest fields for this tournament and the prize pool is nearing $60,000.

We found the Slay family sitting near each other in the field, Kelly and Kelley; the wife/husband team trying to get deep in the tournament. When asked what happens if they get heads up, Kelly laughed and said “he gets the trophy and I get the money.”

Jim Vo

Flight A is close to hitting 400 entries after the first break and we have a quick-moving process of getting new players in seats. We need more than 3,000 entries to hit the $1,000,000 guarantee and the pace is set to crush it.

We found two players who made the most of their first four levels. Jim Vo leads the field with 100,300 and the only player with a six-digit stack. Jeff Tott is second with 98,900 and knocking on that door.
