There were 94 entries in Eight-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha 8, which was the eighth of ten events that qualify for the SHRPO $10,000 Mixed-Game Leaderboard. The total prizepool was worth $48,410, and the final 12 players finished in the money.
Vu Dang won the event outright in a dramatic three-way all-in to earn $15,235, knocking out Marc Sacheli (2nd place) and Joseph Shammas (3rd place). This is the first Seminole Hard Rock trophy for Dang.
The current points leader in the SHRPO $10,000 Mixed-Game Leaderboard is David Tarbet, and he finished 10th in this event to earn 16.5 points to reach 206.1. Darryll Fish had a chance to pass him in this event with a victory, but Fish finished fourth to earn 48.4 points, giving him 173.0 to move up to second on the leaderboard. There are two points-earning events remaining — Event #36 ($1,100 Omaha 8) and Event #43 ($1,100 HORSE), and the top four players on the final leaderboard will win prizes.
