NL 2-7 Single Draw

Yuval Bronshtein raised to 8,000 from under the gun, Josh Heinzl called in the cutoff, and Ben Richmond called in the big blind.

Richmond drew two, while Bronshtein and Heinzl drew one. Richmond led out 25,000, sending Bronshtein into the tank for a little while before he called. Heinzl folded.

Richmond tabled 8x6x5x4x3x, Bronshtein flashed 9x7x, and Richmond collected the pot.

Ben Richmond  –  132,000  (33 bb)
Yuval Bronshtein  –  6,000  (1.5 bb)

The following hand, with Bronshtein all in for 4,000 in the big blind, action folded to Richmond in the small blind who called.

Richmond drew three, while Bronshtein stood pat with KxQx8x3x2x.

Richmond showed 7x2x, then peeled over a Jx, followed by a 5x, and then a 6x, making a jack-seven to eliminate Bronshtein on the money bubble.

Ben Richmond  –  138,000  (35 bb)
Yuval Bronshtein  –  Eliminated on the Money Bubble

Event 35: On the Money Bubble; Mixed Leaderboard Winner Sweat Down to Eric Polierer, Yuval Bronshtein, and Daniel Pearlman

With Eric Polirer busting in 12th place and Ryan Hoenig falling in 10th place, only two players remain chasing Polirer for the top spot of the Mixed Game Leaderboard.

Yuval Bronshtein will clinch first place if he cashes, while Daniel Pearlman would need to win outright AND have Bronshtein finish on the money bubble. If Bronshtein bubbles and Pearlman doesn’t win, Polierer would remain atop and clinch it.

Josh Heinzl and Leo Zhang can also jump into the top five depending on their respective finishes.

Event 35 Field

Event 35 is the final event that qualifies for points on the $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard, and four of the top five players in the standings are all still in the field:

1.  Eric Polirer  –  312.5 pts
2.  Yuval Bronshtein  –  308.4 pts
3.  Ryan Hoenig  –  288.1 pts
5.  Daniel Pearlman  –  205.2 pts

The final eight players will finish in the money, and these players will need to cash in order to affect the standings. Of course Polirer controls his own destiny, because as long as he’s still in the event, nobody can catch him.

The player who finishes with the most points on the $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard will earn an $1,100 tournament ticket, plus $3,000 in cash and a Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood guitar trophy.
