2025 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Event 3 Champion Gregory Spinder

Event 3 of the 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $600 Seniors 50+ No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 147 entries produced a prize pool of $76,440, easily surpassing the $50,000 guarantee.

Emerging victorious was Gregory Spinder, winning outright for $18,720.

The win marked Spinder’s second SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won a a $560 No-Limit Hold’em event during the 2012 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open.

Guillermo Reyes limped in from the button and Gregory Spinder checked his option.

They checked to the turn of a Js9s9d5h board where Reyes bet 100,000. Spinder called.

The river was the 2h, Spinder checked, Reyes bet 200,000, Spinder check-raised all in with a covering stack, and Reyes called all in for about 720,000 with Jc6s for jacks and nines,

Spinder, however, tabled 9h7c for trip nines to win the pot and Event 3 outright for $18,720. Reyes finished runner-up for $12,400.

Gregory Spinder limped from the button for 40,000, and Guillermo Reyes checked his option in the big blind. The flop came Qc8h3s, Reyes bet 100,000, and Spinder called.

The turn card paired the board with the 8c, Reyes checked, Spinder bet 200,000, and Reyes check-raised all in.

Spinder snap-called with Qh4s for two pair, queens and eights, and Reyes turned over 10d2d for ten high.

Reyes was drawing dead, and the meaningless river card was the 10c. Spinder won the pot with his higher two pair to double up and retake the chip lead.
