Shaun Davis, 2026 Deep Stack Poker Series Main Event Champion

The big tournament on the 2026 Deep Stack Poker Series schedule was the $1,700 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em tournament. The Main Event for the two-week series drew 225 entries, and Shaun Davis took the top spot outright for $79,530.

The tournament featured a $300,000 guarantee and created a prize pool of $337,500. The last 29 players made the money, and they burst the long bubble a few hours into Day 2.

Defending champ Michael Newman fell short of back-to-back titles when he finished tenth and 2024 winner Johnny Bromberg was eliminated in ninth.

It took an extra day to find our champion when Davis, David Nathaniel, and Igor Pinheiro took an overnight pause. They returned on Monday to play it out, and all the chips went toward Davis from the start; it took less than one hour to finish off the tournament.

Davis picked up the second-biggest tournament cash of his career, his top was the $181,000 he earned for fifth place in last summer’s Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship.

Congrats to Shaun and thank you to everyone for coming out!
