Event 55 of the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event, which had 124 entries. After pulling out the $14,700 for the prize pool, there was $20,020 raised in entry fees for Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida. (That’s in addition to all the money raised through the silent auction.)

A heads-up deal chopping up the remaining prize money was made and ultimately, the tournament was won by Willie Wiggins, collecting a first-place prize of $3,500 and a $3,500 seat into the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.

The players return from break to begin Level 9, with increased blinds of 500-1,000 with a big blind ante of 1,000.

The chipleader at the break is Chris Hill, who had 64,000 (64 big blinds), narrowly beating another player’s stack of 63,000. For being chipleader at the close of registration, Hill received $1,000 in cash.

Speaking of registration, there were 124 entries, with all of their entries being donated to Make-a-Wish Southern Florida, in memory of Larry Frank.

After a laid-back cocktail party where people could socialize and check out the silent auction charity items. The items up for silent auction are on display in the tournament area, and you can bid on items online by clicking here.

After an introduction from Charity Series of Poker founder Matt Stout, emcee Matt Savage, and Make-a-Wish Southern Florida representative Natalia Yepes, the cards went in the air for the tournament around 7:07 pm.

The tournament clock showed 74 entries at the start of play, and registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the end of the first break, around 9:22 pm.

All of the buy-ins will go to Make-a-Wish Southern Florida in memory of Larry Frank, as the prizes have been donated.

There will be a $1,000 cash chipleader bonus to the player who has the most chips when registration closes. The nine final tablists will receive the following cash and prizes:

The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event is a special occasion, a time we honor a great man by raising money for one of his favorite charities. The tournament, silent auction, and donations all benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, and you can help even if you aren’t in the area.

The Silent Auction is now live and features items like a signed Brad Marchand jersey, a signed Derek Jeter baseball, and a signed Gustav Forsling picture of him holding up the Cup. You’ll find items from the Dophins and Heat plus some Hard Rock packages and swag.

The cocktail hour starts at 5:30 pm with cards in the air for the tournament at 7 pm.
