Remember to include #SHRPO in your Tweets!  Some end of night Tweets from the Flight A crowd:

Event 1: Flight A Going in the Bag

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 14:  Blinds 1,200/2,400/400 ante

Flight A of Event 1 has come to a close as players get the last four hands out of the way. Unofficially there are 65 players surviving from the starting of the 336 who started.

Nissin Vaknin appears to be the end of flight leader but we will have all the numbers once staff have them crunched. Among those 65 survives were Tristan Wade, Angel Vu, and Errol Massey but Marsha Wolak and Zach Kessler will have to wait for another shot.

Event 1: Flight A Approaching the End

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 14:  Blinds 1,200/2,400/400 ante

The last level of the night is underway.  At the conclusion of level14, the remaining players will bag up their chips for the night.  Fewer than 72 players remain of the 336 that entered this flight.

Players who bag chips are not allowed to play any subsequent flights.  If a player still has chips at the end of level 14, they can forfeit their chips if they want to try again.

Event 1: Vaknin Still Leads Flight A

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 13:  Blinds 1k/2k/300 ante

Nissin Vaknin is still the chip leader and he has distanced himself from the field.  He’s up to about 325k.

He’s also sharing the felt with WSOP-E Bracelet winner Tristan Wade.  Tristan recently shipped 25,500 to the player on his right when his KcQc failed to improve against his opponent’s pocket 8s.

Tristan is still in fine shape, sitting behind about 150k.

Event 1: Flight B Underway

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 1:  Blinds 25/50

Cards are in the air for the second of six starting flights of Event 1!

Players began with 20,000 chips and all Day 1 levels are 30 minutes long.  They’ll play 14 levels, then bag up for the night about 1:45am.

Players who busted out of Flight A may enter this flight and re-enter as many times as they like until registration closes at the start of level 9 (about 10:30pm).

Nissin Vaknin

Nissin Vaknin (Davie, FL) has accumulated quite a stack.  He’s up to about 230k and lording it over his table.  He admitted he “got a lot of gifts” from “a bunch of donkeys”.  Of course those donkeys are gone and that doesn’t apply to his current table-mates.

Just after we chatted, his table broke and he was moved to a new table in search of more donkeys to donate.
