Bill Gazes (Las Vegas, NV)
Bill Gazes is old school poker, first tournament cash in 1993 old school. We’ve had him pop up over the last few series and he’s back with us today.
Gazes is still looking for his first major tournament victory though there were some very close calls. In his career, he’s made seven WSOP final tables, finished second in the 2007 WSOP H.O.R.S.E. event, and went to two WPT televised final tables.
Today it looks like Gazes has two priorities. Playing in the $1 Million GTD Event 10 while spending his time behind hands concentrating hard on the monitor behind him showing the US Women’s National Team Olympic soccer match versus New Zealand. Multi-tasking at its best.

Cate Hall (Tuscon, AZ)
Sheddy Siddiqui and Darryll Fish aren’t the only two SHRP team members in action today, we caught up with Cate Hall in the middle of the room for some of her first action of the series.
Hall is having a nice run over the past few months. She finished in ninth place during the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship in April, followed that up with a deep run in the $10,000 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Finale, then went to Las Vegas and cashed six times during the World Series of Poker.

“Baby faced” Sheddy Siddiqui (Pembroke Pines, FL)
Flight C is quickly growing and should hit 200 entrants before noon rolls around, but it’s oddly quiet in here for a ballroom full of players. It’s usually a little louder on a Friday morning but there’s only murmurs, chip shuffling, and the occasion outburst so far.
All business today.
We found two SHRP team members in early action today. Sheddy Siddiqui and Daryll Fish jumped in before lunchtime, grinding away trying to put chips in a bag.

Bradley Young (New York, NY)
Cards are in the air for Flight C of Event 10 with over 100 entrants at the start including Bradley Young. And he’s having a very fine week.
Young finished in second place during the $570 Double Black Chip Bounty NLH/PLO Event 7 and followed that up with his first SHRPO title by winning the $360 Pot Limit Omah/8 Event 9 two days ago.
