On a flop of Sheldon Gross got his short-stack in the middle, getting action from Mike Wang.

Sheldon’s made top pair and he was ahead of Mike’s . Then the last two fell and Sheldon was ‘Greensteined’ by an Ace on the River.

Just before the break, DJ MacKinnon got all-in on the turn for his last 48,800. The board read and after getting the count, the player in seat 1 called.

DJ had for top two pair. His opponent held for the flush draw with gutshot.

DJ faded all those outs when the river produced the . He doubled up to about 172k.

Only the final 63 get paid, so there’s still a long way to go.

During the previous level, Chris Bolek got his last chips in the middle on the turn against two players: Preecha Taepakdee and Sheldon Gross.

There are no easy tables left in this event, but table 1 is especially rough with Nancy Birnbaum, Michael Mizrachi, Mukul Pahuja, Fernando Diaz, Aaron Smith, Randy Ohel, Jason Mercier, Dan Alspach, and Jarod Ludemann.

In an early hand, Jarod raised from the cutoff and got 3-bet by Nancy on the button. Jarod called to see the flop of .

Jarod checked, Nancy bet 6,500, and after some thought, Nancy called. The turn was the and both players checked.
