Ian O’Hara

Sean Winter opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and Ian O’Hara three-bet to 77,000 from the big blind leaving only 3,000 behind. Winter did not have much more in his stack and called the bet.

Both players checked the 9d6c5d flop, the turn was Ah, and O’Hara checked. Winter dropped in three 1K chips and O’Hara called.

Winter: AcJs
O’Hara: 3d3c

Winter paired his ace on the turn and O’Hara could not find a save on the 8c river to exit the High Roller.

Sean Winter – 172,000 (57 bb)
Ian O’Hara – Eliminated

Andy Andrejevic

The second break is complete and action is back underway. Everyone is chasing Andy Andrejevic at the top of the counts with Bryn Kenney not far behind.

Alex Papazian, Erik Seidel, and Brock Wilson round out the top five of a talented bunch.

Andy Andrejevic – 444,000 (148 bb)
Bryn Kenney – 410,000 (137 bb)
Alex Papazian – 380,000 (127 bb)
Erik Seidel – 330,000 (110 bb)

Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney is no stranger to High Rollers and knows how to get it done. The former GPI #1 ranked player had a misstep with his first bullet today and jumped right back in.

The second time around is working much better for Kenney with his new stack up to 378,000 and he is relaxed.

Jerry Robinson

Action folded to Jerry Robinson in the cutoff and he opened to 15,000. Anthony Zinno was in the small blind and dropped four 25k chips for a bet, enough to cover Robinson.

He thought for a few moments, asked Zinno if he would show if he folded, and Zinno called the clock. Before the time ran out, Robinson called.

Robinson: QsQh
Zinno: AcAh

Robinson was in bad shape for his High Roller life and missed the 7s5s4d flop. The Js turn gave him a spade flush draw that filled on the 3s river. Robinson cracked aces and doubled up.

Jerry Robinson – 214,000 (86 bb)
Anthony Zinno – 92,000 (37 bb)

With the board reading 9s5h2d7h, Giuseppe Iadisernia moved all in against James Romero for 88,500. Romero called and Iadisernia was drawing to stay alive.

Iadisernia: Th6h
Romero: QsQh

Romero was ahead with his queens and Iadisernia was holding a flush draw/gutshot draw. The 8c hit the river to fill his ten-high straight to double through the leader.

Giuseppe Iadisernia – 240,000 (96 bb)
James Romero – 310,000 (124 bb)

James Romero had a solid lead over second-place Andy Andrejevic after the break but it has narrowed. Andrejevic added more to his stack and now sits with 270,000.

Anthony Zinno was one of the recent entries and the former WPT Player of the Year joined the table with 2015 WSOP Main Event champ Joe McKeehen.

The High Roller added a couple more entries after the break with November Niner Joseph Cheong and WPTDeepStacks champion Faraz Jaka joining the gang.

There’s plenty of time to jump into the High Roller with registration open until 8:30 pm. We have more than a few still in the $5,000 Eight-Handed tournament that will like roll over when their day is done.

James Romero

The High Roller was sent on the first break of the day and there was one big stack sitting there. It’s not often you see a 3x starting stack in a high roller after three levels but James Romero managed it.

The WPT Champions Club member spun his 100K starting stack up to 305,000 after sending Giuseppe Iadisernia to the rail plus a few more big hands. Andy Andrejevic sits in a distant second with 156,000 as the return to action.

Jason Mercier

Another level in the books and the High Roller got a little tougher. The count is up to 23 heading into Level 3 and that includes two of the best players in the world.

Erik Seidel and Jason Mercier have a combined $56.8 million in career earnings; Seidel is fourth on the all-time and Mercier is the highest ranked player in the state of Florida.

Both grabbed their seats this afternoon and we expect a few more top names to make their way to the Seminole Ballroom.
