The money bubble was in a long grind.

15 rounds of hand-for-hand before we had our first all-in called and it was a big one.

With the board reading in a three-way pot, Harrison Ruggiero moved all in from the small blind. Anastasija Zavorotnaja was in early position and called at risk for 113,000. Lyle Diamond in the hijack also called for his last 108,000 and then they waited for the rest of the table to finish their action before flipping over their cards.

It was set-over-set between Diamond and Zavorotnaja and they both needed to dodge hearts or we’d have a trouble bubble KO.

The turn and river finished the board for Diamond to triple up, Zavorotnaja was knocked down very shot, and Ruggiero still had chips to battle.

Cards are back in the air after the break and bubble play resumed, the field one elimination from locking up some money.

A quick look at the tables found a new contender for the chip lead. TK Miles was the undisputed big stack and he’s still there with 1,127,000 but Brenda Hinds is giving him a run with 836,000.

With less than a minute remaining in Level 16, the field dropped to 44 players with 43 getting paid. Tournament staff began hand-for-hand play on the bubble, one hand, before sending them on a mid-bubble break.

The field is quickly shrinking toward the money bubble and one table, specifically two players at one table, are holding a lot of the chips in play.

Greg Spinder was once again leading the field at the break, up to a huge stack worth 409,000. His tablemates and dealer filled us in on a big hand that helped build his stack; catching a full house with pocket deuces against a player who flopped trip jacks.

Eli Montefu sat in second with 338,500 with a lot of players trying to chase both down.
