Igor Tretyakov raised from early position and Michael Rosenberg moved all in from the cutoff for 31,000. Josh Clanton called out of the big blind and Tretyakov called as well.

Clanton and Tretyakov checked it to the river as the board ran out AcQs4h3h6c.

On the river, Clanton bet 25,000 and Treyakov called. Clanton showed 7h5s4c3c, goodfor the nut straight, Tretyakov showed AsQdJs7d, good for top two pair, and Rosenberg’s AhKhKs9c was no good.

Piragibe Lindolfo Ataide

After some heavy preflop action, there was a three-way all in between Matt Bretzfield in the hijack, Pavel Bystrov in the small blind and Piragibe Lindolfo Ataide in the big blind.

Bretzfield was all in for 48,000, Ataide was all in for 42,000 and Bystrov had both players covered.

Bystrov showed Ah3h4c2c, Bretzfield showed QdTc9c2s and Ataide tabled AsAdKhQc.

The board ran out 9s5s2dKd4h and Bystrov rivered the wheel to knock out both players. Bretzfield earned the better finishing position since he started the hand with more chips. He’ll take eighth place and $1,297, while Ataide earned $1,149 for his ninth place finish.

There was about 40,000 in the pot on a flop of As8c2d. Matt Bretzfield checked from the big blind and Josh Clanton bet 6,000 from the hijack. Igor Tretyakov folded on the button and Bretzfield called.

“I can’t fold for 6,000,” said Bretzfield. “Maybe I can go runner-runner.”

The turn was the 5d and Bretzfield checked. Clanton bet 6,000.

“Are you all in?” asked Bretzfield.

“I’m getting there,” said Clanton, exposing the 2,000 he has remaining after his bet.

“I guess I can save 2,000 if I miss,” said Bretzfield.

The river was the Tc and Bretzfield check-folded to Clanton’s shove. He showed KdJd7x6x.

The numbers were crunched and the prize pool information was released for the Pot Limit Omaha event. The tournament drew 137 entries, up from 89 a year ago, and they combined to create a prize pool worth $41,100.

The last two tables will earn some money with a min-cash taking home $750, the final 12 players bank at least $1,007 and the winner will walk away with $11,488 plus the RRPO trophy.

Eight levels are complete in the Pot Limit Omaha tournament and registration closed when they returned from break. The tournament clock shows 137 entries, nearly doubling the turnout from last November, and they will some nice payouts later this evening.

Stephanie Clayton was your second break leader with 75,000 and her nearest competitor, Kurtis Ruhl with 73,000, is sitting to her direct left.

South Florida loves its Pot Limit Omaha so we should see a nice group of players in the Hard Rock Event Center as we throw the first PLO tournament of the series at noon.

Event 4 is a $360 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha one-day trophy event and we will crown our third champion of the series before the night is through.

Players will sit down to 10,000 starting stacks and 30-minute levels from start to finish. They have until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm to register for the tournament or fire another bullet if they hit the felt. They will take a dinner break at 6:30pm and return to play it out for the trophy.
