Event 5: Rojas Run Out

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 26: 20k/40k/5k ante

Christian Rojas was doing his fair share of talking today, all while taking chips from his opponents. But not much was going right in the later parts of the tournament and he was unable to make the final table.

He was all-in with AhKd against the QsQh in what some people call a “classic race situation”.

Rojas couldn’t have like the 9d8c2c flop, stood up when it turned 4h, and grabbed a payout ticket after the 6c river to earn 16th place money.

Event 5: Lyn Gone

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 26: 20k/40k/5k ante

Dinh Nguyen began the day with the chiplead but he hasn’t had much luck for much of the day. He three-bet shoved after Moises Benchloch opened for 80,000. Conrad Lyn responded with an all-in over the top and Benchloch let his hand go.

Lyn: 9d9s
Nguyen: KhKc

Lyn needed a lot of help but the board ran out without drama Js7s4d4h3d to send Lyn out in 17th spot.

Event 5: Julie Ngo Eliminated

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 25: 15k/30k/5k ante

Julie Ngo was the last woman in the big $150,000 guaranteed tournament but she fell short of the last two tables. After a few other players doubled, Ngo was all-in with JdJs against the QcJc of Gaston Miculitzki.

She held a dominating hand which stayed strong on the Ac4h2s flop but Miculitzki popped a Qd on the turn. No miracle Jack on the river for Ngo and she was sent out in 19th.

The clock is paused as the field redraws once again then playing down to a winner.

Event 5: Hen Doubles

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 25: 15k/30k/5k ante

There were a few quick short-stack eliminations when they returned from break, including Kai Yang and Marvin Young, but Ory Hen refused to join them.

Hen was all-in for 845,000 and Cory Blum had him dominated with AxAx against KdJs. He found no help on the Jc 4s 3h] flop to be left drawing thin. The Jc gave him a small glimpse of a comeback before the river Kh cracked Blum’s Aces.
