Registration closed for the $600 Double Black Chip Bounty NLH tournament with 582 entries. This format is a relatively new variant for us so there is not much history to fall back on but it easily beat the same game from January, putting an extra 152 entries on top of that.

Players are piling through the $600 Double Black Chip Bounty tournament with the “bounty” call heard often throughout the room. That’s help spin the early entry number up to 325 as players exercise their single re-entry option to take another shot.
We found another visitor in today’s field, visiting South Florida from the still-cold Northeast. Judy Bielan is back with us and back in action today after a long Sunday. She went deep in the $1,100 two-day tournament but fell short of the money late in the day. Now Bielan has a chance to beat up some stack and pick up some black chips.
Event 8 is the next new tournament on today’s schedule as we continue to fill in the Seminole Ballroom at noon. It is a $600 buy-in Double Black Chip Bounty NLH game with $200 on the head of each player.
They’ll start with 15,000 stacks and run 30-minute levels all the way through. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with a single re-entry available if needed. They’ll take a 40-minute dinner at 6:30 pm and return to find our Event 8 champion.
