More Omaha on the Showdown schedule with Event 8 this morning at 11 am. This time it is a $600 Limit Omaha 8 tournament for some old school chopped pots all day long.
They’ll start with big 25K stacks out front and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm.

The third event in the Mixed Games Leaderboard competition was $400 Triple Stud, and with a field of 65 players, they generated a prizepool worth $21,125.
After a little more than 13 hours, Victor Nassif defeated Nic Ganley heads-up to win the event outright, earning $7,385 and his second SHRP major series trophy, having previously won the $400 H.O.R.S.E event during the 2024 LHPO.
Also notable was the ninth-place finish for Harry Eisenberg, who is the only player who has cashed in all three events played so far for the Mixed Games Leaderboard.
A few minutes after play resumed, they were on 5th street during a Stud round, and Nic Ganley bet 80,000 with his pair of threes showing. Nassif raised to 160,000, Ganley reraised to 240,000, and Nassif reraised to put Ganley all in.
Ganley called all in for a total of 260,000, and they turned over their cards:

Ganley had two pair, queens and threes, and he needed it to hold to stay alive against Nassif’s diamond flush draw and open-ended straight draw.

Nassif made a straight on sixth street, and Ganley needed a queen or a three on seventh street to stay alive, but he missed. Nassif won the pot — and the title and the trophy — with a queen-high straight.
Nic Ganley finished as the runner-up, earning $4,225.
Victor Nassif wins the $400 Triple Stud, earning $7,385 and another Lucky Hearts Poker Open trophy. (He won the $400 H.O.R.S.E. event at this series last year.)

Ganley paired his queen on sixth street and his king on seventh street to make a higher two pair, and Morozovs needed to improve with a lower two pair and a diamond flush draw. But the last card for Morozovs was an offsuit 10, and Ganley won the pot to eliminate Morozovs in fourth place.

Christopher Carey had been multi-tabling between this final table and the final flight of Event 1, running back-and-forth between tables.
Unfortunately, Carey busted from Event 1, and returned to the final table during a round of Stud Hi-Lo to play a hand that would see him go from two tournaments to none in just a matter of minutes.
Carey played his next hand against Mihails Morozovs.
Heading into the final card, Carey had two pair, eights and deuces, and was drawing to an 8-7 low. Carey needed to improve to stay alive against Morozovs’ trip fives and 8-5 low draw.
Both players received a second ace for their final card, so neither player made a qualifying low. Carey finished with two pair, aces and eights, and Morozovs won the pot with fives full of aces to eliminate Carey in sixth place.
