Perry Johnston (Oak Island, NC) was in flight C yesterday, but that didn’t last very long. “I decided to go back upstairs and take a nap and start fresh today,” he said.
Perry’s granddaughter Brynn loves the pool here at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and she’s enjoyed it on her previous visits. She always follows her PawPaw’s progress here on the SHRPO.com blog.
His best finish here was a 3rd place in the $200 Double Green Chip Bounty NLH during the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Showdown, which added to his career earnings of over $61,000.

Quite a few regular players from Seminole Hard Rock Tampa have made an appearance here today.
Richard Hope is on his second bullet in this event and he’s sharing a table with Wally Maddah, who is on his 4th bullet. “I had Kings against AK…and the flop came three Aces!” Wally said of one of his previous bust-outs.
One table over is Terri Anne Crawford, who says she’s drawn an action table this morning. “They’re raising 6x,” she says.
There was also some verbal banter that got out of hand between guys at her table and another table. The floor person has issued warnings to both tables that penalties will be forthcoming for further bad behavior.
Another Tampa regular spotted in the crowd is John Pappas.
