Three Trophies Awarded on Busy Day 12 of RRPO

Monday was one of the busiest days of the 2017 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open with five events running and three trophies being won.

Initially, all of the focus was on the $3,500 championship event, which came back with 34 players on Day 3. After about four hours of play, the final 18 players bagged up and will come back on Tuesday at noon to play down to a final table of six.

Once that finished, all of the attention turned to the three events that played down to a winner. Ken Ray won the $1,650 purple chip bounty no limit hold’em tournament in a three-way chop, Glenn Shapiro won the $1,100 no limit hold’em turbo event in a four-way chop and David Peters won the $5,000 no limit hold’em event outright after defeating Scott Wright heads-up.

There were also three flights of the $150 no limit hold’em re-entry event. There were 435 entries over the three flights and 35 players made it through to Day 2 on Wednesday.

A closer look at Tuesday’s schedule will be posted in the morning.
