The 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is officially past the halfway mark of the series, but the action hasn’t slowed down.
Some of the bigger buy-in, marquee events are right around the corner, but the biggest score to date was recorded on Sunday with two more trophies being awarded.
Travis Hart took down the $570 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event for $159,708 in a nine-way chop to take home the first of two trophies awarded.
Alexander Haber won the other event that was completed. He took down the $360 Big Stack Black Chip Bounty. Haber got the most of a three-way chop, taking home $10,936 for his win.
The $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty event got cards in the air on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. The event drew 120 entries, but by the day’s end, only nine remained.
Those nine players will come back on Monday at 2 p.m. to play down to a winner. They are all guaranteed a cash of at least $2,700, but first place is worth $34,800 and the trophy.
