Two Trophies and Two Starting Flights on Day 6 of RRPO

It was a busy day in the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood tournament room on Monday evening.

There were two players who took home some hardware and two starting flights that played to completion. Francois Zayas won the $360 ultimate re-entry event in a seven-way chop. Zayas took home $107,973 for his efforts.

The other trophy won on Monday was by David Shmuel in the $360 pot limit Omaha 8-or-better event. He chopped heads-up with Jeff Duvall. Shmuel won $7,152 and the trophy.

While the first multi-flight re-entry event of the series wrapped up, the second kicked off. There were two flights of the $570 no-limit hold’em re-entry event. Day 1A kicked off at 11 a.m. and it drew 145 players, while Day 1B drew 122 players several hours later. 28 players made it through 1A and 24 survived Day 1B.

Blake Vita holds the chip lead through two flights. He bagged the Day 1A chip lead with 296,000.
