Start-of-day chip leader David Laka has been nursing a short stack for a couple levels, and he’s found a couple spots to put his remaining chips to work.

In one recent hand, Laka moved all in for 30,000 first in from the cutoff, and Mark Sandness re-shoved for 151,000 in the small blind. Dietrich Fast considered for a long while before surrendering his big blind, leaving Laka heads-up for his tournament life.

It looks like he won a few pots in between that one and the most recent one he played, because he started what would be his final hand with 110,000 chips. He moved all in for that amount under the gun, and Stephen Chidwick re-shoved behind him, getting heads-up with a chance for the knockout.
