WPT Tournament of Champions

Players Remaining: 55 of 64
James Calderaro has been riding a short stack for much of the day but has doubled once again to get closer to a starting stack.
This time, it was a battle among WPT Seminole Hard Rock champions when Calderaro mixed it up with Griffin Paul. It was three-ways to the flop with Yevgeniy Timoshenko coming along but he moved out of the way when all of Calderaro’s chips went in the middle.
Calderaro was at risk but his flopped set looked pretty safe against Paul’s bottom pair . Paul was less than 0.5% to catch up and was drawing dead after the turn to give Calderaro the double.
Griffin Paul – 65,000 (108 bb)
James Calderaro – 32,000 (51 bb)
