The first flight of the WPTDeepStacks event drew a big crowd and cruised past the $250,000 long before registration closed. The pushed it over $300,000 yesterday and they’ll continue to run it up today.
Flight A drew 314 entries and 64 of them survived the 15 levels for the Day 2 restart on tomorrow. Former WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja finished with the chip lead followed by WPT Commentator Tony Dunst in second.
Flight B kicks off at noon and players will start out with 25,000 deep stacks with 40-minute levels all the way through. They have an hour-long dinner break scheduled at 6:30 pm and registration will close when they return.
The day will end after Level 15 and all those with chips will return tomorrow for Day 2.
