Steve Wilkie vs Raminder Singh
Raminder Singh (right) tanks for a while after Steve Wilkie (left) bet about half of Singh’s remaining stack on the turn.

With the board showing Jc8c2h7s on the turn and about 140K already in the pot, Raminder Singh thought for a while before he checked from the small blind, and then Steve Wilkie bet 70,000 from the hijack.

Singh went into the tank for with about 145K behind, at one point saying, “I’m not going to just call you. I only have two choices,” implying that he would either shove or fold.

After a couple of minutes, Singh apologized to the table for tanking so long, and told them that they could call for a clock with no hard feelings, but nobody did.

Shortly after that, Singh folded, and Wilkie showed 10s9c for a turned jack-high straight as he took the pot, which put him up near 500K.
