Championship: Nut Flush for Winter

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 26:  Blinds 20k/40k/5k ante

Mohammed Jaafar and Sean Winter take it to the river on a board of 7s3s2s7dQc.  Sean fired 325k and Mohammed tanked for a couple of minutes, then decided to call.

Sean showed AsTs for the nut flush.  “Nice hand” said Mohammed as he mucked his hand.

Sean is up to about 4 million while Mohammed’s stack dropped to about 500k.

Championship: Jaafar Doubles

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 26:  Blinds 20k/40k/5k ante

Mohammed Jaafar got all-in holding a mere Ac8d and ran into Faraz Jaka’s pocket Queens.  It appeared we were looking at the last hand of the night, but the community cards delivered big-time for Mohammad as they came AdJd4s8s9s.

Mohammed doubled up to about 1 million while Faraz dropped to about 2 million.

Seven players remain with an average stack of 2.6 million.  When one more player departs, the final six will bag up for the night.

Championship: 9th – Dentale; 8th – Fernandez

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 26:  Blinds 20k/40k/5k ante

Mike Dentale - 9th place
Mike Dentale – 9th place

Mike Dentale shoved utg for 200k and got called by Sean Winter in the middle and Jacobo Fernandez in the small blind.

Jacobo Fernandez - 8th place
Jacobo Fernandez – 8th place

On the flop of 8d7h4h Jacobo checked, Sean checked out his stack, then tossed in a bet that covered Jacobo’s remaining stack (about 520k).

Jacobo took a couple of seconds, then called all-in and the hands were shown:

Jacobo: KsKc
Mike: 9h8h
Sean: AhQh

Jacobo led with his Kings, Mike had a pair of 8s and a useless flush draw, and Sean had the nut flush draw.

The last two came Qd2h and Sean made his flush on the river, busting both opponents.

Since he started the hand with fewer chips, Mike Dentale took 9th place and $38,000.  Jacobo Fernandez took 8th place and $55,000.

Championship: 10th Place – Robert Campbell

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 25:  Blinds 15k/30k/5k ante

Robert Campbell - 10th Place
Robert Campbell – 10th Place

Jeff Chang opened for 65k, then Robert Campbell shoved for ~440k.  Jeff called, revealing AcJh.  Robert’s AhKs had him dominated.

Then the flop came QcJs4d and Jeff said “King”.

Turn was an inconsequential 3d, but then the river delivered the Kd giving Jeff Broadway.

Robert Campbell was eliminated in 10th place, earning $26,000.

End of level 25 and the final nine players are on a break.

Championship: 11th Place – Jebhar Patterson

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 25:  Blinds 15k/30k/5k ante

Jebhar Patterson - 11th Place
Jebhar Patterson – 11th Place

Jebhar Patterson and Sean Winter got all-in pre-flop.  Jebhar’s pocket 8s were in bad shape against Sean’s pocket Kings.

The board changed nothing and Sean doubled up to ~1.6 million, leaving Jebhar with only about 75k.

He held on for a few hands and doubled up once, but then Jebhar got his short-stack in holding pocket 3s against Andy Andrejevic’s QJ offsuit.  The board came Q T 5 9 A and Andy got the last of Jebhar’s chips.

Jebhar Patterson busted out in 11th place, earning $26,000.

The final ten are drawing for seats and moving to the final table.
