Championship: 12th Place – Nathan Bjerno

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 24:  Blinds 12k/24k/4k ante

Nathan Bjerno - 12th place
Nathan Bjerno – 12th place

Faraz Jaka opened for 52k on the button, the Nathan Bjerno shoved for ~450k from the small blind.

After giving it some thought, Andy Andrejevic re-raised from the big blind, forcing Jaka out.

Nathan rolled over Ad3s saying “my turn” to beat Andy’s pocket Kings.  He got no love from the board, however, as it fell 8c4s4d4h5c.  Andy’s big stack continues to grow.

Nathan Bjerno busted out in 12th place, earning $26,000.

Championship: 13th Place – Jarod Ludemann

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 24:  Blinds 12k/24k/4k ante

Jarod Ludemann - 13th place
Jarod Ludemann – 13th place

Jarod Ludemann got his last chips in good with pocket Kings, but when the big stack calls with Ac4h you know you’re in trouble.

Andy Andrejevic caught an Ace on the flop to take the lead.  When the board was complete, it showed Ah6c2sJc3d and Andy’s big stack got bigger.

Jarod, who started the day as the shortest stack, busted out in 13th place, earning $19,000.

Championship: Before the Break

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

End of Level 23:  Blinds 10k/20k/3k ante

Players are taking 15, but before the break:

The flop read Th9c7d and Nathan Bjerno was all-in for 233k.  He got the call from Jebhar Patterson, who held pocket Kings.  Nathan had Js9h for middle pair with straight draw.

The turn was the Kd giving Jebhar a set of Kings, but then the river brought the Qd giving Nathan the straight and the double-up.

On the other table, Jacobo Fernandez opened for 45k, Steven McKoy called, then Mike Dentale raised to 95k.  Jacobo called, then Steven shoved, having both covered.  Mike tanked for a few minutes, then folded.  Jacobo took about a minute, then did the same.
