Day 1B of the $3,500 WPT Poker Showdown Championship is complete.

A total of 648 Day 1B entries joined the 712 from Day 1A to make the total field size 1,360, up 51 entries from last year. 246 players bagged, and along with the 278 from Day 1A there will be 524 players returning Sunday for Day 2.

Shawn Nguyen is the Day 1B chip leader with 319,500, good for the overall lead entering Day 2.
