Championship Day 1C: Paterson Likes The Hard Rock

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 10: 500/1,000/100 Ante

With 18,000 already in the pot, Stuart Paterson made a bet of approximately 8,000 as we got to the table with a flop of Qc6d4c. His opponent made the call and both of them would check on the 5c turn. The river was the 9s and Paterson would bet 9,000 after his opponent checked. A few seconds of thought would lead to a fold and the proclamation “should have four bet you” as he tossed his cards to the dealer.

Paterson is chipping up nicely which is no strange occurrence here at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood. Paterson has cashed in 14 events here including a fifth place score for $49,402 at the 2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open. Paterson has been on the poker scene for quite some time as his career best cash of $110,871 came when he finished sixth at the 2006 WPT Borgata Winter Open.
