Championship Day 1C: Table 50 – The Sequel

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 10: 500/1,000/100 Ante

Table 50 turned out be full of action here in the final level.  First, Patrick Eskandar managed a huge triple-up.  Off a Qc6c5c flop, Eskandar had flopped a flush with KcJc but two other players ended up in the middle of the hand.  One player had also hit a flush with 9c8c and also had a possible straight flush and the second opponent had Ac9d trying to hit the nut flush.  Eskandar managed to hang on as the board ran out 2sAd to pick up the hand and push his stack over 200,000.

Shortly afterward, Vince Van Patten was all-in on a ten-high board.  Van Patten’s JdTh was against a KhTd but a jack hit on the river and Van Patten has gone over 80,000 after suffering through being on a very short stack most of the day.

We’re closing in on the end of the night here on Day 1C with under 25 mintues to go.
